Show Notes

Tools for Life, the TINT podcast about the value of soft skills (or human skills) and core skills.

Today, TINT Event Organizer, Nuriye van Lamoen is talking with Bas van Dijck, Applied Physics BSc student and candidate chairman of the Study Association Van der Waals, about the theme of soft skills (or as we like to call them: human skills): core skills which include teamwork, leadership, work ethic, intercultural fluency etc.

This episode is inspired by a video from Simon Sinek in which he explains that soft skills, the skills you need to be a better human being, should actually be called human skills. Nuriye and Bas discuss their student perspective on this definition, the importance of these skills in peoples' lives and when should we learn about them.
